Character Modeling

A design I came up with for Character Modeling class, I wanted to do something a little different, so I thought a cross between Real Monsters and Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. Thus this idea.

Here are my original concepts:



Some thought the pirate was too overdone, some thought the monster creature was too simple, and most liked the witch. I agreed with the majority of the comments, but I felt I'd go with the one they thought was the weakest and try to make something enjoyable.

My boyfriend hates the design, haha, but I like it.

Just starting a personal project, hopefully when it's done it will be useful in my portfolio. I'm liking the rough so far, but it's REALLY rough.

My friend, Edgar Cardona, made one of himself and his dragon, that is what I figured me and my dragon would look like.
